Kingdom Life: Discipleship Classes
One of the greatest callings on a believer’s life is that of being a disciple and that of practicing discipleship. A disciple is someone who is a trained student of the teachings of someone else. Discipleship then is the "process of learning about the teachings of another, internalizing them and then acting upon them." As Christians, we are called upon to be students of Christ, studying his teachings from scripture (The Bible), and making them a part of our lives.
So you may ask, what are the benefits of being a disciple, or why should you be involved in the process discipleship process? Let’s review a few:
- You walk in obedience to the Word. (Matthew 28:18-20)
- You learn more about the Heart of God as you study His Word. (Psalms 119:89-96)
- Your faith is strengthened to speak boldly about God. (Acts 3:11-26)
- You reproduce the life of Christ in others. (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)
- You become kingdom minded to see others grow in Christ. (Galatians 4:19)
- We grow together as mature believers to carry out our God given life purpose. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Christian Disciplines Class

Class Description: This class is designed to help you have a clear picture of how Jesus grew into his calling and became the greatest example of how one can walk in their divine purpose. You will learn of the steps Jesus took as He prepared for ministry from a child to an adult. Join us as we explore his personal devotion towards his Father. This class will also be beneficial to those considering formal Christian Ministry or as a lay person.

Building a Biblical Worldview Class

Class Description: Do you desire to be a well rounded disciple understanding how to not only be effective in religious circles, but influential in other areas such as politics? This class will help you with the basic foundations of becoming such a person. The Pillars curriculum teaches an acronym called PEERS: Politics, Economics, Education, Religion and Social Issues from a biblical perspective. Come be a part of this journey as we become influential disciples in other platforms, other than the church.

Class Description: As we continue to focus on Growing in the Kingdom throughout the year, as part of our Wednesday night services, Bishop McBath will continue to offer discipleship teaching during Crazy Church to help us grow in understanding God’s Word. His teaching will include an array of topics like Hermeneutics, Eschatology (The Study of the End Times), The Book of Acts, The Minor Prophets, etc. Bishop strongly believes that it is the responsibility of EVERY believer to take time to study the Bible by using simple steps. These various teaching opportunities will help you grow in the understanding of God’s Word.
